Change Your Sleep Environment
It could be as simple as your environment impacting how much sleep you are getting. This could be the case if there is a problem with your mattress or even the level of light in your room. Many people assume that the mattress is basically a one-size-fits-all approach and this is not the case.
Certain mattresses will be more beneficial for some people rather than others. For instance, you might have a sore back and if that’s the case then it will be important that you have a firmer mattress.

As for issues with the light, some blackout blinds can solve this problem for you and ensure that you can get the level of sleep that you need. Our bedroom window faces east, but it still gets a lot of light in the evening. We installed blackout curtains last year and it’s been LIFE-CHANGING.
Consider Psychological Issues
It is possible that there is a psychological problem at play here which is stopping you from getting the level of sleep that you need.
You might find that there is a deep-rooted issue that you have long since buried. If so, seeking therapy could be the answer that you need. A telehealth solution will allow you to connect directly with a therapist and that way you can explore the issue together, potentially finding the right solution.
Keep in mind that a psychological issue can be buried deep in the subconscious. If so, you be unaware of the problem even though it still affects you.
Start an Exercise Routine (Even if It's Small)
It’s also possible that you are struggling to sleep because you’re not staying active enough throughout the day. If this is the problem, then it’s important to make sure that you are doing more.
Consider starting an exercise or fitness routine if you have trouble sleeping. The benefit is that you will push your body a little further and feel more physically drained by the time your head hits the pillow.

Or finally, it’s possible that you are struggling to sleep at night because you feel stressed and overwhelmed in your life. One of the easiest ways to tackle this issue is to make sure that you are writing down your thoughts and feelings before bed. Run models on them.
If you do this, then you should be able to address the problems that you are experiencing head on and get the rest that you deserve.
