If you have found yourself in a bit of a rut with some of your lifestyle habits, then it is time to make a change. For a more positive and successful life, your habits need to be positive and help you get you to where you want to be.
You could change your thought process or how you approach obstacles. You could shift how you feel about yourself, or shake up your physical environment. If you develop a more positive way of thinking, it can help you become healthier—both physically and mentally.
You can't make any of those changes if you're stuck in negative thinking or negative habits.

If you're craving change and realizing that you need it in your life, it's up to you to make that change. Learn How to Navigate Your Feelings
If you want to evoke change, then you need to recognize your feelings and the impact that they have on you. For everyone, feelings are 50% positive and 50% negative. That's not something we can change.
What we can learn to recognize is when the 50% negative feelings are so strong that we think all of life is like that. When you recognize that all feelings come from thoughts, even the negative ones, you can learn to identify those thoughts. And, if those thoughts aren't serving you, you can choose to change them.
But remember—sometimes we WANT to experience negative emotions. The point isn't to be happy all the time. We need to use critical thinking and self-awareness before doing anything we might later regret... Actions based on how we feel.
You could try this, too: pursue exactly what you want, regardless of how you are feeling. Ruth Soukup calls this "Doing it Scared." It means feeling the fear and doing it anyway.
As soon as you have done what you set out to do, there will be a great feeling coming from the thoughts you have about your accomplishment. Keep doing that, and it will slowly become one of many positive habits to keep integrity with yourself.
Replace Your Bad Habits
When you are in charge of your feelings and are more aware of them, it helps you to create some great positive habits. Then what you should do is think about replacing some of your negative or "bad" habits with things that are better. If you keep repeating a negative habit, or manifesting a negative habit, then you need to change the habit.
Spend some time reflecting on the emotions that you felt before there was such a habit. Once you do this, you need to replace the negative thing with a positive one. You might be feeling low and depressed. Identify the thought causing those feelings.
You can move on from this by learning to be grateful for the little things, and then go from there. Some habits won’t be bringing you any kind of results, so address that, and then replace them with ones that are better for you.
